Job Opportunity

Sales and administrative assistants are needed for a pro shop at a golf course. Key responsibilities include selling merchandise, collecting fees, registering players, assigning tee times, and handling customer requests.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as proficient administrative and organisational abilities. A great work ethic with a willingness to be proactive in a team environment is also essential.


Key Responsibilities

* Answer telephone calls, record messages, and take tee time reservations
* Register players and assign tee times, ensuring all golfers sign the daily register
* Collect money for green fees, range fees, rentals, and pro shop sales
* Maintain general order and cleaning of the pro shop and surrounding areas
* Handle customer enquiries and requests in a courteous and professional manner
* Restock fridges and pro shop items as required
* Process membership applications and competition results in a timely and accurate manner


Requirements

* Availability to work weekends
* Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Current CPR Certificate
* Police Check
* Working with Children Check


Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer service experience
* Previous barista experience

Candidates with previous experience in similar roles are desirable, but individuals with a friendly attitude and customer service mindset are encouraged to apply.

Applicants must obtain the required qualifications if not already held.
