Make an Impact, Not Just Balance the Books
You're an experienced accountant who's ready for something more — more influence, more connection, and more satisfaction in your work.
You enjoy solving problems, building relationships, and helping clients move forward with confidence.
If that sounds like you, we'd love you to join our expanding team on the Gold Coast.
Who We Are
We're a progressive, people-first accounting and advisory firm supporting a wide range of small to medium businesses.
Our clients count on us for more than compliance — they rely on us for insight, strategy, and genuine partnership.
Inside the firm, we pride ourselves on being approachable, collaborative, and forward-thinking.
We've built an environment where everyone's ideas are valued, professional development is encouraged, and balance is part of everyday life.
The Opportunity
Due to continued expansion of our practice, we're seeking a Senior Accountant who's confident managing client portfolios and enjoys taking ownership of their work.
You'll oversee financial reporting, ensure accuracy and compliance, and deliver practical business advice that helps clients achieve their goals.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing accounting and taxation requirements for clients
Preparing financial statements, BAS, FBT, and other returns
Identifying areas for process improvement and efficiency
Developing and maintaining strong client relationships through proactive communication
Staying across legislative and compliance changes relevant to the role
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who's both technically capable and people-oriented — someone who takes pride in their work and thrives in a team environment.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
A degree in Accounting (CA/CPA/IPA qualified or working towards it)
At least 5–6 years' experience in Australian public practice
Strong knowledge of taxation, compliance, and general accounting principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proactive approach and genuine enthusiasm for client service
Experience with Xero or other cloud-based software
The ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism and care
Candidates must hold valid Australian work rights to be considered for this position.
What's in It for You
A supportive, flexible workplace that values balance and wellbeing
Access to ongoing training and professional development
A friendly, inclusive team culture
Modern technology and streamlined systems to make your work easier
If you're looking for a role where your contribution is recognised and your growth is supported, this could be the perfect fit.
This position is full-time and based on-site at our Gold Coast office (Runaway Bay).
