007 Estimator - Construction $65.91 PH + superannuation ASAP Start Initial contract to June 30th + ongoing extension opportunities Cannon Hill OR Ipswich location Qld Government opportunity A leading Queensland State Government Department is seeking a Construction Estimator to join their team to support high-quality estimates and tender documentation for a wide range of building projects across SEQ.
About the Role As a Construction Estimator, you will play a vital role in the planning and delivery of building projects across various government and commercial sectors.
This is a detail-oriented and administration-heavy position, ideally suited for someone with strong computer skills and experience with contracts or tenders.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare high-quality estimates and quotation documentation that comply with the State Purchasing Policy, Minor Works guidelines, and client-specific requirements.
Conduct research and development in project planning, budgeting, estimating, programming, delivery processes, and procurement strategies.
Provide clear and concise reporting on estimating projects and programs, including data on requests, client profiles, costings, margins, and productivity.
Promote and maintain a safe and equitable working environment, ensuring adherence to workplace health and safety and HR policies.
Foster strong client relationships through professional communication, effective negotiation, and timely delivery of competitive estimates.
What We're Looking For Proficiency in computer systems and administration - someone tech savvy Prior experience with contract management or tendering processes is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a project team environment.
A proactive and professional approach to client engagement and project delivery.
