About the role
The Program Support Manager – Infrastructure Investments provides governance, assurance and performance oversight across TAC's road safety infrastructure programs, ensuring delivery, financial and risk obligations are met. Working closely with finance, Road Safety Victoria and Local Government partners, this role supports consistent, evidence‑based decision‑making through high‑quality reporting, systems management and program monitoring. It also builds strong stakeholder relationships and maintains robust governance frameworks to support effective, accountable and well‑coordinated program outcomes.

You will join the passionate and engaged Infrastructure Programs branch, an expert team committed to learning, sharing knowledge, and collaborating to deliver meaningful outcomes. Supported by the Director of Road Safety Infrastructure, you'll have the autonomy to own your work, with guidance and development opportunities to help you meet expectations, achieve goals, and grow your individual capabilities.
What we're looking for
Program Governance & Assurance
Ability to establish and maintain governance frameworks, ensure compliance, and provide high‑quality oversight that supports informed, accountable program decision‑making.
Performance, Financial & Analytical Capability
Strong skills in monitoring program performance, analysing data across scope/cost/risk, supporting financial processes, and providing evidence‑based insights and recommendations.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
Demonstrated track record of developing and maintaining constructive relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders, resolving issues and managing sensitivities within constrained timeframes, and ability to effectively negotiate to achieve outcomes
Executive & Committee Reporting
Provide sound advice and coordinate the preparation of accurate and timely program reporting for committees and stakeholders, including briefing material for senior executive approvals.
