About The Opportunity

As Events Coordinator, you'll partner with key stakeholders to plan and promote strategic events that showcase Wellways as a leading provider of carer, mental health, and wellbeing services. Your responsibilities include end-to-end event planning, aligning with marketing targets and strategic goals, and supporting various types of events, including conferences, expos, service launches, and community events. You will become a key member of the National Marketing and Communications Team, receiving support from subject matter experts across Wellways.


Your key responsibilities include:

* Implement the rollout of the planned event series in the marketing plan.
* Create event briefs and coordinate with design and communications teams.
* Advise internal stakeholders on event best practices.
* Identify and implement opportunities to promote Wellways at regional and state events.
* Respond flexibly to short-notice event requests for advocacy and PR activities.


You will also need:

* Relevant tertiary qualifications in event or project management, marketing, communications, or equivalent work experience.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
* Willingness to travel frequently to New South Wales and Queensland.
* Availability for some out-of-hours work.
* Willingness to undertake verification of key qualifications and checks (Working with Children, NDIS Worker Screening, Police Records, etc.).
* Proof of right to work unrestricted in Australia.
