We empower businesses to work smarter, move faster, and make decisions with confidence.What you'll be doingOwn a book of customers and prospects, developing and executing territory and account plans to drive acquisition, growth, and retention using Portfolio Intelligence insightsFocus on landing new logos through self-directed prospecting and pipeline generation, creating your own pipeline using industry-leading toolsLead complex solution deals in SaaS selling environments, using value-based selling methodologies and MEDPICC qualification frameworkNavigate executive and business decision-maker conversations, demonstrating experience in exec/business decision engagementPartner closely with Customer Success Managers to increase product adoption, drive expansion, and deliver a best-in-class customer experienceCollaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Solutions Engineering, BDRs and more to unlock strategic opportunitiesConfidently navigate complex procurement processes and C-level conversations to close deals and deliver resultsYou'll thrive if youBring 5+ years of enterprise sales experience with a proven Hunter mentalityHave deep SaaS-only selling experience with complex solution dealsAre expert in value-based selling and can articulate vision-driven business outcomes across industriesHave experience in the ANZ Government sector and understand industry dynamicsAre proficient with MEDPICC methodology and can create pipeline using industry toolsDemonstrate strong executive and business decision experience and can engage senior stakeholdersEnjoy working across a high-performance team and can rally others to a shared goalTake initiative, own your outcomes, and know how to prioritise what moves the needleAre hands-on with the sales tech stack - Salesforce, Salesloft, Quip, Highspot, and value the process as much as the resultAre willing to travel to meet customers and represent Nearmap at events, conferences and industry forumsQualifications5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience in Business Development or Account Executive roles, with a strong record of exceeding quota and driving new revenueFamiliarity with modern sales frameworks like MEDDIC, SPIN, Sandler or Challenger; ability to run strategic discovery and turn insight into actionA history of managing ~200 accounts across existing clients and new prospects with a structured, data-driven approachDeep vertical expertise in the Public Sector/Government sector, with hands-on exposure to tools like AutoDesk, Bentley, or ESRI is a big plusStrong commercial acumen, fluent in ROI, comfortable with Excel-based business cases, and able to tailor value propositions to diverse stakeholdersA strong understanding of subscription-based business models and how to drive product adoption and retention over timeComfortable working cross-functionally, bringing people together to close complex deals and deliver an exceptional customer experienceKnowledge of Salesforce (SFDC) and belief in the power of accurate forecasting and clean pipeline hygieneOur promise and investment to youWorld class enablement and trainingAccess to best-in-class sales toolsWeekly 1:1 supportPersonal and career development opportunitiesExposure to executive leaders with a passion for living our valuesAdditional InformationWhy you\'ll love working at Nearmap: Because we back our people the same way we back our product.
