Junior Town Planner
Your role is to work within the Planning and Projects team, contributing to the delivery of residential projects.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment on a variety of projects across regional NSW. In this role, you will interact with stakeholders, consultants, and councils throughout the development process.
The position requires travel to various sites as needed.
Key duties include:
* Interpreting local and state government planning strategies, policies, directions, and legislation.
* Reviewing building design documentation, drawings, and reports to ensure acceptable development.
* Coordinating fee proposals and supporting technical advice for various developments.
* Preparing Statements of Environmental Effects and coordinating supporting documentation.
* Undertaking desktop site analysis and research related to town planning provisions.
* Submitting applications to relevant authorities as required.
To succeed in this role, you require:
* Degree qualifications in a planning-related area or suitable planning qualifications.
* Unrestricted Australian working rights.
* A current Australian Driver's License.
* Reading and understanding technical drawings diagrams.
* An understanding of NSW planning codes, Australian Standards, and the NCC.
* Proficient oral/written communication skills.
