Job Description
* This role involves supporting the end-to-end recruitment process for driver roles, ensuring all stages are completed efficiently and effectively.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and agreeing on the most effective attraction methods to reach the best candidates.
* They will create compelling job adverts that attract top talent and ensure vacancies are advertised across appropriate platforms to maximise reach.
* The role also involves coordinating and managing the application process, ensuring a smooth experience for all candidates.
* The Recruitment Assistant will organise and conduct interviews, ensuring a professional and efficient process.
* They will also support the facilitation of group assessment days and arrange medicals for new and existing drivers.
* Liaising with clients to organise and support job fairs, careers events, local education programmes etc. is another key responsibility of this role.
* The successful candidate must ensure all Right to Work, medicals and other critical recruitment processes are followed.
* Delivering outstanding customer service to both customers and colleagues is essential for this role.
* Reporting weekly/monthly figures to the Recruitment Manager to support trend analysis is also required.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience in a resourcing/recruitment role is necessary for this position.
* The successful candidate must have knowledge of legislation covering recruitment and selection processes.
* A Driving Licence is also required.
* A strong customer service background is essential for this role.
