Position Details
* Position Title: Support Services Assistant Leader
* Employment Type: Part-Time
* Probation: Six (6) months' probation applies
* Hours: 30 hours per week (60 per fortnight)
* Hours of work: 9:00am – 3:00pm
* Pay: From $36.31 per hour (plus superannuation)
* Location: Atherton Tablelands Region & Cairns Region, with virtual work across multiple territories
* Reports to: Manager (as per the Organisational Chart)
Employment Entitlements
* Annual Leave: 4 weeks
* Personal/Sick Leave: 2 weeks per year

Scope of the position
The Supported Services Assistant Team Leader supports the Supported Independent Living and Respite, Individual (IS) and Supported Employment (SE) Team Leaders in overseeing the day-to-day operations of Go Care ensuring the provision of high-quality, person-centred support and care to residents and participants that optimises the quality of life and also ensuring that services meet the diverse needs of individuals across Supported Independent Living, Respite, Individual Support and Supported Employment Programs. Under the direction and leadership of the Services Management team, who oversee the overall services delivery operations, the Assistant Team Leader works collaboratively with Team Leaders to provide operational and relationship support.
The Disability Services Assistant Team Leader acts as a key contact and relationship champion with individual client and carers, fostering positive relationships and ensuring a strong customer services ethos is embedded in the delivery of timely and responsive services.
This role supports the SIL/Respite and IS/SE Team Leaders in ensuring that all services comply with the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Framework and the NDIS Code of Conduct. The Assistant Team Leader contributes to the delivery of a contemporary, individualised and inclusive model of care, ensuring the safety, rights and well-being of all residents and participants are upheld at all times.

Qualification required
Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
Skills required
* Communication skills -The applicant should have good verbal and written communication skills
* Organisational skills-Highly proficient in managing multiple tasks, keeping records, updating files, organising rosters, managing sick leave and bidding shifts, data entry and filing
* MS Office Suite Google Suite -Proficiency in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, One drive, google,
* Interpersonal skills -The applicant should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to liaise with a range of possible stakeholders, including support staff, participants and director.
* Productivity Tools -The applicant should have knowledge or should be prepared to learn how to use productivity tools such as Trello, Canva
* NDIS -NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (this will need to be done before start of employment)
* NDIS -Experience in the NDIS field
