Factory Worker Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Factory Worker to join our production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing kangaroo products in a chilled environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform trimming/boning/slicing (knife handling) and packing/labelling tasks with precision.
* Accurately complete batch, weight, temperature and hygiene records.
* Maintain personal hygiene, follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and uphold housekeeping standards in production areas.
* Ensure all workplace health and safety requirements are met, wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and report any hazards.
Requirements:
* Preference given to candidates with prior knife skills experience, but training is available for motivated starters.
* Ability to work in cold environments, lift up to 20 kg and stand for extended periods.
* Attention to detail, teamwork and the ability to follow procedures are essential.
* Full work rights in Australia and reliable attendance are required.
