Prosecution Officer (Administrative) Level 4

Temporary, for a period of up to 12 months

$124,983. Package includes salary ($99,938 - $110,271 p.a.), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

About us

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is the independent prosecuting authority responsible for the prosecution of all serious indictable offences committed against the laws of New South Wales. We are an agency of over 1100 staff, working throughout NSW to service the main court centres. Our 10 offices have a mix of Crown Prosecutors, Solicitor Advocates, Solicitors and support staff.

The Role

The ODPP seeks a highly organised and customer-focused Recruitment Coordinator to join its collaborative Human Resources team. Working closely with Recruitment and HR Business Partners, this fast-paced and varied role is responsible for providing end-to-end recruitment support, coordinating recruitment activities and delivering positive candidate experiences while ensuring compliance with public sector legislation, policies and timeframes.

Key accountabilities:

* Coordinate recruitment activities and proactively provide administrative assistance to recruitment panels, Recruitment and HR Business Partners to support the effective delivery of recruitment practices in line with the Government Sector Employment legislation and within established timeframes.
* Undertake end-to-end recruitment support activities including advertising, candidate sourcing, candidate management, interview coordination, assessment preparation and onboarding activities to assist with timely recruitment outcomes.
* Communicate effectively and engage proactively with candidates and recruitment panels to support a positive candidate and onboarding experience.
* Provide accurate and detailed information to assist team members with the delivery of recruitment activities and proactively contribute to the development of procedures, templates and other supporting material in line with legislation, policy and business needs.
* Maintain records in SuccessFactors recruitment system and other internal databases and prepare various forms of reporting on recruitment metrics to support recruitment strategy development and implementation and statutory recruitment activity compliance.
* Participate in recruitment panels as required, assist with sourcing and engaging contingent labour as required.
* Assist with liaison with Universities and Careers Fairs.
* Participate in projects to improve HR service delivery and organisational efficiency.

About you

* Demonstrated experience working in an in-house recruitment environment.
* Demonstrated experience in the use of eRecruitment and Human Resources Information Systems (preferably SuccessFactors).
* Excellent organisational skills.

The interview process will include capability-based assessments which may require your time and presence on more than one day.

Each response must be included within the body of the cover letter and clearly identify which targeted question is being addressed (for example, by using headings or explicitly referencing "Targeted Question 1" and "Targeted Question 2"). Q1 - Describe your experience supporting end-to-end recruitment activities in a high-volume environment, including how you organise and prioritise your work to manage competing deadlines.

Q2 - Provide an example of how you delivered professional and customer-focused service to candidates, hiring managers or recruitment panels during a recruitment process.
