Overview
Wagga Wagga City Council's Parks & Reserves Team is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Gardener with a genuine interest in Sports Turf Maintenance and a passion for the care and maintenance of gardens and landscapes.
The role is active, hands-on, and requires working outdoors.
Remuneration & Employment
Remuneration of $2,****** gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $2,****** gross per fortnight + superannuation (12%).

Responsibilities
Undertake gardening duties such as establishment and maintenance of gardens and lawns; planting; pruning; hedging; mowing; tree maintenance; weeding; irrigation; soil and sediment control; rehabilitation works; chemical application; pest/disease control; maintenance of facilities; rubbish removal; traffic/pedestrian management; fencing; concreting; paving; and site safety and security.
Operate and maintain items of plant, equipment and tools.
Respond to customer service requests as required.
Qualifications & Skills
Certificate III in Horticulture (desirable).
Class C Driver's Licence (MR Licence desirable).
Motivated, willing to learn new skills, strong customer service skills.
Genuine interest in presentation of sportsground facilities and focus on Work Health and Safety.
Vaccination Requirement
The successful applicant is required to be vaccinated for Hepatitis B and will be asked to provide evidence of this.
