Responsibilities
* Acting as the primary technical liaison with clients, ensuring clear communication of scope, progress, risks, and technical direction.
* Defining and documenting project scope and requirements in collaboration with clients and internal teams, ensuring feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
* Translating client needs into actionable technical specifications and guiding delivery across the full project lifecycle.
* Estimating work, developing project plans, and coordinating resourcing and procurement of materials and services in collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
* Leading cross‐functional teams by setting a clear technical vision, reviewing product architecture, and promoting an integrated approach to development.
* Identifying technical risks and dependencies early, working with the project team to resolve issues and maintain momentum.
* Overseeing testing, validation, and compliance to ensure products meet technical and quality standards.
* Working closely with project coordinators to monitor scope, budget, and timeline adherence, recommending changes where needed to ensure project and client success.
* Anticipating details of future projects by communicating directly with customers and staying informed of relevant trends and industry news.

Requirements
* Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or hold a working visa.
* A relevant qualification from a reputable education organisation (e.g., Bachelor of Electrical Engineering).
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a project management or product lead role.
* Extensive leadership and team‐management abilities.
* Excellent problem‐solving skills.
* Knowledge of ISO 13485 & 9001 regulatory requirements pertaining to product development.
* Understanding of a variety of production/manufacturing processes.
* Experience in communicating with and evaluating local and offshore suppliers.
* Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Location
Our Brisbane office is located in the inner‐city area with convenient access by road and public transport.
We provide workplace flexibility by allowing staff to work from home for part of the week.
