Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales objectives within a defined territory and promoting our comprehensive portfolio of products, with a strong focus on serving the mining and broader industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan in collaboration with the Sales Manager to achieve sales, profit, and growth targets.
* Conduct regular sales visits as outlined in the sales plan, offering expert product advice and engineering solutions to customers.
* Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities by leveraging market intelligence, tender information, and future construction project leads.
* Prepare reports and other necessary documentation in accordance with branch and customer requirements.
* Contribute to the sales team by attending meetings and providing updates on sales progress and CRM system usage to the Sales Manager.
* Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, addressing technical or service-related inquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving repeat business.
Requirements
* A Technical qualification in either Engineering or Mechanical/Electrical Trade is required.
* Proven experience in sales, with a strong track record of lead generation and deal closure in customer-facing roles.
* Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office applications, and other sales management systems.
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with customers.
* A customer-centric approach with a passion for delivering exceptional service and tailored solutions.
