Quality Assurance Manager | Red Meat Processing | NSW
We are currently partnering with a well-established food manufacturing business to recruit a Quality Assurance Manager for their site based in regional NSW.
This is a key leadership role within a high-risk red meat processing environment, requiring a candidate with proven experience in export operations and strong knowledge of BRC and food safety standards.
The Opportunity
Reporting to senior leadership, you will take full ownership of site quality, ensuring compliance with all regulatory, customer, and export requirements.
You will lead the QA function on site, working closely with production and external stakeholders to maintain the highest standards across a fast-paced processing operation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team on site
* Ensure full compliance with export standards, BRC, and regulatory requirements
* Oversee QA systems, inspection programs, and documentation
* Liaise with government bodies and external auditors
* Drive continuous improvement across quality and food safety systems
* Partner with production to ensure adherence to approved arrangements
* Manage corrective actions and reduce quality-related risks and losses
About You
* Proven experience in a QA Manager role within red meat manufacturing (essential)
* Strong working knowledge of BRC, export requirements, and food safety systems (essential)
* Experience working within high-risk, primary or secondary meat processing environments
* Demonstrated leadership experience managing QA teams
* Hands‐on, detail-oriented, and confident working in a fast-paced site
