* Temporary Full-Time employment opportunities until 29th April 2029
* Located in Arncliffe with flexible working arrangements, subject to prior approval
* Salary ranges from $129,464 to $142, 665 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading



About the role



The NSW Sport Programs Coordinator leads the coordination of NSW All Schools teams at School Sport Australia Championships, representing the NSW Department of Education, Catholic Schools NSW, and the NSW Combined Independent Schools Sports Council.



Based in the School Sport Unit within Student Support and Specialist Programs, the role drives state-wide sport initiatives that enhance student engagement, inclusion and wellbeing. You’ll work closely with schools and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, accessible and enjoyable sport programs, fostering lifelong participation in physical activity and supporting students to thrive both on and off the field.



Key accountabilities

* Lead and manage statewide NSW All Schools competitions, teams and officials across the three education sectors.
* Coordinate NSW All Schools representative team selections, administration, apparel, travel, venues and risk management.
* Liaise with the respective cross-sectoral NSW All Schools Sporting Committees to support NSW team participation at School Sport Australia championships. Provide executive support to representative cross-sectoral associations.
* Engage with schools, parents, sporting bodies and other stakeholders, managing communications and event updates.
* Oversee reporting, reviews and social media for representative programs and events.

About you

* Confident in managing competing priorities across multiple education sectors.
* Deliver high-quality administrative work within tight deadlines and agreed standards.
* Use sound judgement to balance workload, timelines, and accuracy.
* Build strong, collaborative relationships with schools, stakeholders, and colleagues.
* Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.



Essential requirements of the role

* Current and valid Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.
* Hold a valid NSW driver licence.
* Ability and willingness to travel regionally
