We are a well-established family-owned business with over 15 years' experience delivering high-quality demolition and asbestos removal services across residential and commercial projects throughout South Australia.
Due to a strong and growing pipeline of work, we are entering an exciting growth phase and are seeking demolition labourers, machine operators and an experienced Asbestos Supervisor to lead Class B asbestos removal projects and support the continued expansion of our operations.
About the Role
As the Asbestos Supervisor, you will take responsibility for the planning, supervision, and delivery of Class B asbestos removal works, ensuring all activities are completed safely, compliantly, and to a high standard.
You will be hands-on, lead from the front, and work closely with management while supervising site teams and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage Class B asbestos removal projects from start to completion
* Operate excavator
* Lead, mentor, and manage site crews and subcontractors
* Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, SafeWork SA requirements, and asbestos management plans
* Prepare and implement SWMS, ARCPs, air monitoring coordination, and site documentation
* Liaise with clients, consultants, hygienists, and regulators as required
* Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
* Monitor project programs, productivity, and quality outcomes
* Identify and manage site risks and resolve issues proactively
Essential Requirements
* Current Class B Asbestos Removal Supervisor licence (SA)
* Class B Asbestos Removal training and competency
* Ability to operator excavator for demolition works
* MR or HR heavy vehicle licence
* White Card
* Strong working knowledge of WHS Act & Regulations and SafeWork SA requirements
* Proven experience supervising Class B asbestos removal projects
* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
* Valid driver's licence
