Welcome to the OT Group (Occupational Therapy Group). Our award-winning team of Occupational Therapists is dedicated to making a difference by providing better Allied Health services for people living with a disability. We are seeking passionate Occupational Therapists to join our team and help deliver support and robust strategies to improve client lives and outcomes.
About the Role
At the OT Group we provide OT services to a variety of people who rely on us to improve their lives. You will work with clients with a range of conditions including neurological conditions and ASD, among others. You will assess needs, design appropriate therapy plans, and advocate on behalf of clients.
You will provide support in areas including home modifications (both complex and simple); equipment prescription (mobility aids, positioning supports, bathroom aids and seating); and assistive technology across self-care, low tech, and learning aids.
You will collaborate with colleagues and the leadership team for support, learning opportunities, and to share celebrated "Weekly Wins" with participants, their families and caregivers.
Responsibilities
* Assess client needs and design appropriate OT therapy plans.
* Advocate on behalf of clients to improve outcomes.
* Provide home modifications and equipment prescription support (mobility aids, positioning supports, bathroom aids and seating).
* Consult on assistive technology across self-care, low tech, and learning aids.
* Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to share learnings and celebrate progress with participants and families.
Qualifications & Experience
* Relevant qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
* Evidence of current AHPRA registration or pending registration.
* Current driver's license and vehicle.
* NDIS worker screening check, or eligibility to apply (assistance provided).
