Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME2/AME3) Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and disciplined Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team. In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
* Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing, and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;
* Conducting routine pre-flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;
* Maintaining thorough records of actions taken;
* Assembling components, parts, and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment; and
* Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.
The essential requirements for this role include:
* Experience on C-27J technical experience is highly desirable;
* Cert IV in Aviation (Mechanical or Structures);
* Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair, and installation of mechanical components;
* Strong team player;
* Ability to follow supervisory direction;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
* Passion for safe work practices;
* Australian Resident;
* Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and
* Current Australian Driver's licence.
