About Our Kitchen Role

We are looking for an experienced cook to join our team and provide well-presented, nutritious meals in a home-like environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a person-first approach that makes a real difference in the lives of our residents.

This is a permanent part-time role working Monday to Thursday from 7am to 3pm. If you're a skilled cook with excellent communication skills and a ability to solve problems independently, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and prepare well-balanced and nutritious meals for our residents
">
* Liaise with residents, families and care teams to ensure dietary, individual and cultural needs are met
">
* Support the efficient functioning of the kitchen and catering services
">
* Comply with all infection control and food safety procedures
">
* Perform administrative duties related to kitchen operations such as stock taking and food quality assessment
">

Requirements
">
To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Experience
">
* Previous experience in meal preparation and delivery in a similar environment

Qualifications

* Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent preferred but not essential

Skills

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to solve problems independently
