About the Role
This is not a traditional tenancy coordination role. It is a commercially focused national leasing position for someone who can balance long-term strategic thinking with disciplined execution.
You will be responsible for managing a mix of national landlords and independent owners across your region, leading lease negotiations across renewals, relocations and new store acquisitions, while identifying opportunities to improve lease outcomes and strengthen overall portfolio value. The role requires someone who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, influencing stakeholders at all levels and delivering quality deals that support broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead complex lease negotiations across renewals, relocations and new store acquisitions
* Manage and optimise leasing outcomes across a national retail portfolio
* Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional landlords, developers and independent owners
* Identify opportunities for rent reduction, lease restructuring and broader portfolio improvement
* Provide commercial insight and market intelligence to support national leasing decisions
* Partner with legal, finance, store development and operations teams to ensure alignment and timely execution
* Support landlord engagement strategies and long-term portfolio planning
* Contribute to the ongoing evolution of a high-performing national leasing function
About You
* Proven experience in retail leasing, property, portfolio management or lease negotiation
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to deliver value through negotiation and stakeholder management
* A strategic mindset paired with a practical, results-driven approach
* Confident dealing with a mix of institutional landlords and independent owners
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability retail environment
* Strong communication, influencing and relationship management skills
* Self-driven, commercially minded and capable of operating autonomously
* Ambitious and motivated by the opportunity to grow within a transforming national retailer
* Experience across national retail, multi-site or large-format portfolios will be highly regarded
