About the Role
We're seeking Casual Nursery Workers to join our team for the seasonal production period.
This is hands-on, outdoor work with full-time weekday hours.
You must be available Monday to Friday.
We are only seeking applicants who can commit to 5 full days per week for the duration of the season.
This role suits:
Backpackers and working holiday visa holders
Students on break
Anyone wanting reliable full-time hours and physical outdoor work
This is short-term seasonal employment, with the possibility of ongoing casual hours depending on performance and workload.
What You'll Do
You'll work across core nursery production tasks, including:
Moving plant stock and seedling trays
Seeding, propagation and potting
Picking and packing native seedlings
Weeding, pruning and general plant maintenance
Assisting with dispatch and logistics
Operating basic nursery machinery (training provided)
No weekend work.
All training provided — no previous nursery experience needed.
What We're Looking For
Available Monday–Friday (full-time hours essential)
Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet all day
Willing to work outdoors in all weather
Reliable, punctual and consistent attendance
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Able to work well in a fast-moving team environment
Own transport required (no public transport to Bullsbrook)
Desirable (not essential):
Nursery/horticulture/landcare experience
ChemCert or MR licence
Hours & Pay
Monday–Thursday: 7:00am–3:30pm
Friday: 7:00am–12:30pm
Full-time hours each week across the season
Casual hourly rate $*****/hr
