About The Business Unit
The Victorian Road Safety Strategy commits to the ambitious target of eliminating death from our roads by 2050, with the first step of halving road deaths by 2030. It also seeks to reduce the incidence of serious injury resulting from road crashes. Road Safety manages Victoria\'s road safety camera network and is a representative for the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) in Victoria\'s road safety partnership. Road Safety contributes to this partnership in the operation of road safety cameras, and the policy and strategic directions of the broader road safety enforcement. Road Safety is accountable to the Minister for Police and the Office of the Road Safety Camera Commissioner.
About The Role
The Senior Manager, Finance and Strategic Sourcing is an integral member of the Senior Leadership Team within Road Safety and will work closely with this team to provide monitoring, investigating, reporting and support to all financial and contractual services within Road Safety to ensure the successful delivery of these functions.
Some Of Your Duties Will Include
* Co-ordinating and delivering support, maintenance and operations of ICT services in collaboration with stakeholders, designers, architects, analysts and testers using agile methodologies at field locations
* Utilising DJCS standards, methods and tools, consistent with DJCS solution and technical architectures, to performing location-based IT incident and request queue management, and user support and training
* Contributing to thought leadership and best practice for ICT location-based customer centric services to deliver continuous improvement, transform the ICT landscape and delivering business value.
The position requires leadership experience and extensive financial and commercial management expertise. The Senior Manager, Finance and Strategic Sourcing is expected to have experience preparing complex briefings for executive management and Ministers.

About You
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
* High-level expertise in managing large value commitments with allocated budgets, including purchase orders, invoices, procurement and contract management
* Working knowledge of electronic contract management systems, preferably in government.
* A strong ability to prepare well-written, timely, concise, accurate and audience-appropriate briefings, reports and documents for publication
* A wealth of experience in leadership and people management.
Qualifications/Requirements
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business Management discipline is desirable.
