The Salvation Army Aged Care (TSAAC) is dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our elderly residents. We are committed to ensuring their well-being and quality of life through innovative programs and services. We are looking for a Clinical Procedure and Strategic Development Specialist for a Max Term of 12 months to join our team and help us continue to provide the highest standards of care.
POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Clinical Procedure and Strategic Development Specialist at TSAAC, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our programs and services to meet the evolving needs of our resident groups. You will be responsible for initiating and developing clinical policies that guide program and service development. Additionally, you will engage with key stakeholders to identify emerging issues and develop solutions that support informed policy decisions. This is an exciting opportunity to drive change, support quality care, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our elderly residents.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Initiate and develop clinical policies that guide program and service development to address the needs of TSA resident groups.
* Engage and consult with key stakeholders to identify emerging issues and develop solutions that support sound policy decisions and approaches.
* Deliver on multifaceted policy projects and processes within agreed-upon deadlines and quality standards.
* Prepare quality written advice in the form of reports, respond to requests, or initiate consideration of new policy initiatives.
* Ensure TSAAC has an effective consumer co-design strategy in place that is implemented and meets the needs of the TSAAC strategy at any point in time.
* Ensure consumer co-design meets legislative standards and expectations.
* Convene and/or participate in committees as a subject matter expert.
* Ensure effective change management processes are followed when dealing with stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Policy Development).
* Proven experience in policy development and implementation, preferably in a healthcare or aged care setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
* Excellent project management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and quality standards.
* Knowledge of legislative standards and expectations related to consumer co-design.
* Experience with change management processes is a plus.
