About the Role
We are seeking a Maximum Part-Time Case Worker/Counsellor (4 days per week | ending in January 2027) to deliver high-quality early intervention services to vulnerable families, children, and young people who display early signs or are at risk of developing mental illness. This role is based across Dapto (3 days) and Nowra (1 day) and focuses on the wellbeing of children under 18 within family settings.
What You'll Do
* Deliver Therapeutic Support – Provide professional counselling and case management aligned with best-practice models.
* Client-Centred Planning – Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop clear, achievable family action plans in collaboration with clients.
* Community Engagement – Promote the service through local partnerships, forums, and participation in community events.
* Compliance & Documentation – Maintain accurate records that meet organisational, legislative, and funding requirements.
* Continuous Development – Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
What You'll Bring
* Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Social Science, Counselling, Community Services, or Behavioural Science.
* Previous experience working with children, young people, and families, including counselling and trauma-informed support.
* Strong communication and assessment skills.
* Valid paid Working with Children Check and unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence.
