Strategic Planning Opportunity
This strategic planning role presents an exciting opportunity to lead and manage complex land use projects, collaborate with stakeholders, and develop high-quality outcomes.
As a Lead Strategic Planner, you will be responsible for assessing and implementing strategic plans, providing expert advice to decision-makers, and developing policies and procedures that align with our vision and goals.
* Lead and assess a wide range of planning scheme amendment requests and strategic land use projects.
* Apply your expertise in strategic planning and report writing.
* Work collaboratively to deliver high-quality planning outcomes.
* Assist, manage and mentor other team members as needed.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Tertiary qualification in land use planning or a related field.
* Sound understanding of the planning system and both statutory and strategic planning processes.
* Demonstrated experience in leading a team and handling complex planning matters, particularly planning scheme amendments.
* Understanding of strategic planning issues and excellent communication skills.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land-use planning, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
