Senior Systems Engineer
This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist support and projects team as a Senior Systems Engineer. You will be responsible for the support of Citrix environments, within contracted time frames and service level agreements.
You will interact directly with customers and other members of the team to provide technology-based solutions. This will involve remote support and ad-hoc onsite visits when required, as well as participating in an on-call roster for after-hours support.
Requirements gathering and working on Citrix and NetScaler projects for our customers will also be a key part of your role.
Our offices are based in multiple locations across Australia and New Zealand, providing a great opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues from different areas.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical maintenance and support services within agreed service levels
* Maintain technical documentation
* Utilise expertise in Citrix and NetScalers to scope and work on projects
* Share knowledge and expertise through coaching others in the team
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* At least 5 years' experience as a Senior System Engineer with expertise in Citrix and NetScaler technologies
* Experience and background supporting Windows Server, infrastructure applications, and cloud technologies
* Technical experience including Citrix DaaS/Virtual Apps and Desktops Administration and configuration, Citrix Netscaler Administration and configuration, user profile management via UPM, FSLogix, and Ivanti DesktopNow, Windows Server Systems Administration, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Patch Management, knowledge with Microsoft Server technology products, managing workloads and resources with public cloud environments (Azure and AWS), managing virtual environments utilising infrastructure such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V, sound knowledge of backup and disaster recovery methodologies using tools such as Veeam, NetBackup and CommVault
* Customer focus and communication skills, ability to develop and maintain productive internal and external relationships, partnerships and networks
* Troubleshooting, problem-solving experience, understanding of public cloud platforms and agile operations
