* Design & implement network (WAN) components
Our client, a large Federal Government organisation, task with defending Australia and our National interests, require the services of a Senior Network Engineer.
Duties of the Senior Network Engineer.
* Produce system designs, specifications & overall architectures, topologies, configuration databases & design documentation of networks & networking technology;
* Specify user/system interfaces, including validation & error correction procedures, processing rules, access, security & audit controls;
* Assess associated risks & specify recovery routines & contingency procedures;
* Translate logical designs into physical designs;
* Lead & provide guidance on developing new capabilities within existing WAN environments;
* Take responsibility for the development of network architectures for upgraded capabilities to ensure it meets business requirements.
Skills and Experience Required
* Ability to lead & provide guidance on developing new capabilities within existing WAN environments;
* Ability to develop network architectures for upgraded capabilities to ensure it meets business requirements;
* Proven experience producing detailed design, configuration, implementation, & support documentation;
* Experience using network management tools to diagnose and resolve system & environment problems;
* Ability to produce outline system designs, specifications & overall architectures, topologies, configuration databases & design documentation of networks and networking technology.
