We are currently recruiting a Senior Media Planner to join our dynamic Performance Marketing & Revenue team.
As our Senior Media Planner, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing advertising campaigns that maximise visibility and engagement across our iconic brands, including Foxtel, Kayo Sports, BINGE, and Main Event.
Reporting to the Head of Planning and working alongside channel specialists, you will be responsible for developing strategic media plans that align with briefed objectives and drive results across all channels, reaching millions of Australians who love our content and live sports!
Your Responsibilities
* Develop strategic media plans that align with objectives and drive results across all channels (including but not limited to TV, radio, print, OOH, search, social, video, audio, display).
* Create, optimise and manage large media budgets, ensuring efficient spending and timely reconciliation.
* Manage campaign performance reporting, ensuring all insights are actionable.
* Serve as a key contact, building strong relationships and presenting strategies. Collaborate with internal teams (Ad Operations, Creative, Marketing, Research) to ensure campaign success.
* Stay up to date on media trends, innovations, and best practices in both traditional and digital advertising. Identify new digital media and ad tech opportunities.
* Guide junior planners and lead the campaign process from start to finish, ensuring strategic alignment.
About Your Experience
* 5+ years experience in media planning, with demonstrated expertise across both traditional and digital channels (Agency background strongly preferred).
* Proficiency in using media planning and buying software and analytics tools.
* Proven experience in managing and optimising media budgets.
* Experience with digital advertising platforms including programmatic advertising.
* Knowledge of various targeting methodologies (behavioural, contextual, demographic, lookalike, cross-device, retargeting).
* Excellent organisational, project management, written, and verbal presentation skills.
* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate actionable insights, and problem‐solve independently.
* Meticulous and detail‐oriented, with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks in an ever‐changing fast‐paced environment.
* Proactive team player with a passion for media and digital advertising.
