Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Safety Officer to lead our health safety and wellbeing function within a diverse and unique risk profile environment. This role provides operational leadership, drives our safety culture, and supports team members working with animals, from heights or confined spaces.
As the ideal candidate, you will have previous experience leading a health safety function in high-risk work environments such as mining, construction or manufacturing. You must be certified to conduct ICAM incident investigations (or similar methodology).
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and lead the implementation of robust Health Safety & Wellbeing work programmes in collaboration with the Executive team and operational leaders.
* Educate management leaders and team members on all facets of Health Safety & Wellbeing through coaching training mentoring specialist advice policy guidance.
