About the Role
As an Employment Support Worker, you will guide and mentoremployees with disabilities while they complete gardening,cleaning, and maintenance tasks. This is a hands-on, team-basedrole where you will provide practical assistance, supervision, andencouragement to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently,and to a high standard.
You will work closely with a supportive team and provideone-on-one and small group assistance in an inclusive environmentto empower individuals and celebrate their achievements.
Key Responsibilities
* Support employees to complete gardening, cleaning andmaintenance tasks
* Prepare and set up equipment and materials for dailywork
* Ensure safety procedures and workplace policies arefollowed
* Assist Supported employees to develop work skills andmaintain quality standards
* Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture
About You
You are patient, reliable and passionate about supporting NDISparticipants of all abilities to achieve their employmentgoals.
You will have:
* Certificate III in Community Services or relevantexperience
* Current Driver's Licence (essential)
* Senior First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
* Working with Children Check (essential)
* Experience working with people with disabilities or inpractical/hands-on roles (desirable)
* A genuine interest in working with people of allabilities
* Strong communication skills, patience, and reliability
* A collaborative, team-focused approach
* Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions
