As an Art Director, you will play a crucial role in Roller’s dynamic design team, driving creative excellence, innovation, and strategic vision. Collaborating closely with a copywriter, the digital, and account service teams, you will bring integrated, cross-platform campaigns to life, enhancing Roller’s reputation for delivering cutting-edge creative for all of News Corp Australia’s brands.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and articulate creative concepts, ensuring alignment with brand strategy, client objectives, and audience insights.
* Execute and oversee creative across multiple channels, including digital, social, print, video, and integrated campaigns.
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including the Creative Lead (Art), account service, digital directors, studio managers, and video editors.
* Provide clear, constructive input to elevate design and creative outcomes.
* Ensure visual consistency and excellence across all creative outputs.
* Actively contribute to strategic planning sessions, campaign brainstorms, and new business pitches.
Who are you?
* Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience as an Art Director in a creative agency or in-house creative studio.
* Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional conceptual thinking, design craftsmanship, and innovative execution across multiple media channels.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and a solid understanding of digital design tools and emerging technologies.
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
* Completion of AWARD School or a comparable creative program is highly regarded / preferable.
* A strategic mindset with a passion for creativity, design trends, and digital innovation.
