**About us**:
We have a moderate size team, which includes a mix of clinical and administrative staff. Our team is friendly, supportive and highly knowledgeable in their specialised areas. We are geographically dispersed, with some of the team located in Tamworth, Cessnock, Scone and Wallsend. Due to this, we rely on regular yet high level communication from each other.
We are a multi disciplinary team, providing essential health assessments, care coordination and support to children in out of home care (OOHC) as well as close liaison with their carers and caseworkers.
**About the role**:
The Intake officer role is integral to the OOHC Health Pathway program and is the central contact point for our stakeholders, external and internally. The role comprises of basic administrative duties but the majority of the workload involves, handling confidential information, processing health referrals, inputting data and details with precision, communicating with and updating the clinical team on matters, regularly.
You will be supported by two other intake/administrational staff, a clinical lead and the district coordinator who will onboard and orientate the successful applicant to the position. All our team are happy to support and assist new members of the team and there is regular communication. You will be provided training opportunities on local systems and processes as well as e-learning modules.
