About The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity in our HCM team for an experienced
Release Management Specialist - Oracle Cloud HCM
. The purpose of the role is to engage with multi-layered stakeholder groups to deliver robust business solutions in an integrated HCM Cloud environment.
Reporting into the Release Lead – Cloud HCM, you will enjoy autonomy, support and making a difference across NSW Health.
NSW Health is in the process of migrating from an on-premise HCM to a Cloud based solution with recruitment, performance and talent and Core HR being deployed. With over 200,000 employees across NSW this is a large, complex, challenging, and exciting program.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyse new features released by the vendor every quarter, including impact assessment of features against current Live solution, provide recommendations of adoption of these features, perform testing and change management activities
Identify and resolve product and process gaps
Issue management and resolution
Co-ordinate and maintain quarterly release schedules across non-production environments to production
Apply standards and controls according to established release and environment management practices; document processes, raise and mitigate risk/issues
Collaborate closely with multiple teams across the organisation; stakeholders to gather inputs and reach agreements using a broad range of effective engagement techniques
Be allocated packages of work to either co-ordinate, contribute, or as the leader focused on delivery from solution design to deployment and beyond
About You
Superior analytical skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources and present findings in a compelling and articulate way
Excellent organisational skills with demonstrated experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with proven capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform and always work with a customer-focused approach
Extensive experience in environment and release management for Oracle Cloud applications
Strong functional Oracle Cloud HCM knowledge and experience (e.g., configuration skills, Redwood and Visual Builder Studio)
Experience working in Cloud or supporting Cloud HCM
Extensive experience delivering agreed business requirements and outcomes through engagement, research, analysis, design, test and deploy to meet business initiatives and operational needs
Excellent interpersonal, consultation, facilitation, negotiation, leadership and communications skills
Additional Information
This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.
To be eligible for this role you must have current Australian work rights (Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen with a current passport, or hold a valid visa with permission to work in Australia).
