Access Covers Australia Pty Ltd was established in 1993 and specializes in the design, engineering, manufacture, and supply of all types of access covers, grating, and pits to the civil and construction industry. Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead WHS and compliance operations across Access Covers Australia
2. Manage and continuously improve the Integrated Management System aligned with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001
3. Oversee the business's compliance, safety, and reporting
4. Conduct and lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, audits, and contractor reviews
5. Ensure audit readiness and maintenance of all ISO certifications
6. Champion environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives, manage waste management and resource efficiency, WHS/HSEQ meetings, and reporting
7. Partner with leaders to drive a positive, resilient safety culture
8. Conduct internal audits, investigations, and deliver actionable insights and reports
9. Manage training, site compliance, equipment register, and safety documentation (SWMS, SOPs, risk registers, Training matrix, etc.)
About You:
1. Diploma or Degree in WHS
2. Lead Auditor qualifications in ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001 (desirable)
3. A strong understanding of ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001
4. Experience in WHS and compliance management within manufacturing or civil construction would be an advantage — but if you come from another sector and bring strong systems knowledge and leadership skills, you are more than welcome to apply

6. Training and assessment qualifications (desirable)
7. ICAM or equivalent certification in incident investigation (desirable)
8. Strong leadership and team development capabilities
9. Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage at all levels

11. Proficiency in MS Office 365 (SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
12. Current driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment health assessment
