Job Description
The Senior Manager, Activity Based Costing individual will-
- Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the university's Activity-Based Costing framework.
- Drive a deep understanding of cost structures across programs, colleges, and portfolios to support strategic financial planning and decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with finance and operational teams to deliver insights into cost efficiency, resource allocation, and financial sustainability.
- Leverage a strong affinity for technology and analytics, staying up-to-date with modern modelling tools and systems.
- Be highly process-oriented and comfortable with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, providing subject matter expertise, strategic analysis, modelling, and forecasting.
- Deliver reliable insights and recommendations to support executive decisions, planning, budgeting, risk management, compliance, and performance measurement.
- Contribute to the development of policies, initiatives, and key strategic projects by delivering robust financial analysis and ROI assessments.
- Understand the broader organisational context and dynamics, with a forward-thinking mindset and ability to conceptualise and communicate future possibilities.
- Build strong relationships across a large, complex, and diverse organisation, gaining trust and influence in environments where differing interests can impact outcomes significantly
