About the role
Workforce Data Officer
Part Time – 48 hours per fortnight (until 31.12.2026)
Colac Area Health is a values-based organisation providing a unique integrated health service comprising of over 500 employees, providing Acute Care, Aged Care, Community and Allied Health Services.
We are rolling out a new Human Resource Information System (People Plus) that will streamline the recruitment, contract, onboarding, professional development and payroll processes. In addition, Colac Area Health will be implementing a new Time and Attendance (T&A;) system called OPTIMA, and moving away from the existing T&A; system, KRONOS.
The Workforce Data Officer is responsible for managing, analysing, and reporting workforce-related data to support evidence-based decision-making across People & Culture and organisational leadership.
Their core function is to ensure that accurate, timely, and meaningful workforce information is available to inform strategic planning, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
What’s required?
- - Demonstrated high level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated capacity to take direction and learn from opportunities and team members
- Clear verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills with an ability to be flexible and agile when needed
- Possess solid skilled ethics, including the ability to exercise sound judgement and confidentiality in relation to sensitive matters
- Proven ability to review processes and systems and identify efficiency opportunities
- Understanding of data management principles.
- Well-developed computer skills and literacy, including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel.
- Knowledge & Experience in data management and data reporting.
- Previous Experience working in a payroll and/or HRIS environment (highly regarded)
Knowledge & Experience in Healthcare (highly regarded)
