**The Company**:
Our client is a well-known property group who owns a portfolio of Shopping Centres throughout the ACT, NSW, VIC, and QLD.
**The Role**:
- Operations/Facilities manager role for a shopping centre in Canberra.
- The function of the Operations Manager is to manage and oversee services within the shopping centre region, such as OHS&E, Risk Management, Building Compliance, and essential Services.
- Planning of repair, maintenance and upgrading works to meet customer and retailer requirements Periodically generating a plan for operations management at the Centre over the long term
- Identifying opportunities to enhance the property through capital expenditures
- Engaging contractors to carry out the projects and directing their activities
- Managing the interface between the development of the Centre and its day-to-day operations, particularly taking part in the planning and control of development to minimise day-to-day disruptions to the operations of the Centre
- Ensuring the Centre's daily cleanliness, security and repair is at the agreed standard
- Overseeing tenancy fit-outs
- Responding constructively to customer complaints

**Ideal skills & experience**
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in business administration, commerce, management, or operations management with a minimum of 2 years industry relevant experience
- Operations experience in a shopping centre ideal but not essential
- Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
- Knowledge of business, management principles and practices, and project management principles & practices.
