About the Role:
A leading sports equipment company based in Queensland is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Controller to oversee inventory management and ensure accurate tracking of stock.
Key Responsibilities:
* To prepare stock for events, including receiving, storing, and dispatching products as required.
* To conduct regular audits to ensure stock accuracy and identify any discrepancies or issues.
* To manage records, reports, and other documents related to stock control.
* To maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate the best possible prices and services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in logistics and inventory systems like MYOB or similar software.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
* A high level of communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
* Certification in inventory management or a related field would be highly regarded.
