Training

Responsibilities and Impact
* Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products and attend to breakdowns in the field, this will be on an on‑call roster
* Diagnose and repair engines
* Inspect and replace components as required
* Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
* Work with other major OEM's such as Hitachi, Komatsu, Liebherr
Qualifications
* Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic or Diesel Fitter (to Australian standards)
* Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, mining equipment, power generation on engines and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM)
Additional Information
* Full Time / 38 hours per week
* On Call Roster
* Overtime as required – Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours
* All your safety equipment / PPE and uniforms are provided and laundered
* Domestic relocation from across Australia may be offered for the right candidate
* Local valid driver's licence is required
