Strategic Procurement Manager
This role is responsible for developing and implementing the department's strategic plan, driving excellence throughout the Procurement function, and across the department for procurement activities. The position will work with the Deputy Chief Procurement Officer to build a modern procurement organisation that supports departmental strategies and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement the department's strategic plan for procurement.
* Drive excellence in procurement functions and processes.

Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualification desirable.
* CIPS Diploma in Procurement and Supply or similar desirable.

Other Information:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services working with children check prior to being employed. This must be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will also be required to undertake RRHAN – EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course, which must be updated every three years.
