Gympie Church of Christ is a lovely church of up to 120 people on a Sunday. As we continue to grow, our children's Sunday School has around 25 kids ages 2-12. We love Jesus, love the word and hope to find someone who will share that passion with the next generation.
**About the role**
We are seeking to employ a part-time (1-3 days per week) Youth and Children's ministry coordinator to continue to develop the youth and children ministries of the church.
Dependant on the number of days you work, In this role you will:
- Oversee the Sunday morning Sunday School for all age groups (3yr to 6yr+), which will include, planning, preparing and executing the Sunday School Program;
- To teach one of the age groups each Sunday while remaining responsible to oversee the others;
- To be available to help children's roles in special events such as Christmas Carol concert, Easter and the Hallelujah Party;
- Encourage, equip and empower senior Sunday school children into the ministry that the Lord has put of their heart for them to join;
- Coordinate and communicate the Sunday school roster with volunteers;
- Attend and contribute to once-a-month ministry coordinator meetings;
- Maintain excellent relationships and open communication with the pastor, elders, ministry leaders and volunteers;
- Create, develop and decorate a wonderful space for our children to use for our Ministry program.
Indicative Total Remuneration is between $15,100- $45,300 depending on number of days you work.

- Have the call to serve in children's ministry as a vessel of his great love for them, with a heart of gentleness and kindness to guide and nurture children from all walks of life;
- Have strong organizational, leadership, and communicative skills and be able to work well independently and cooperatively;
- Be passionate about leading and building volunteer teams.
