Salary Range: LGO4 ($83,384 - $89,379 per annum + superannuation) based on skills, qualifications and experience

About The Role
This position is within the Planning and Development Business Support Team and provides high-level administrative and business support to the General Manager Planning and Development ensuring the Planning and Development Section delivers on Council priorities and strategic outcomes. This includes managing correspondence and communications, coordinating diaries, supporting meetings and events through logistics, agendas and minutes, preparing presentations, arranging travel, and handling expenses while maintaining confidentiality and governance requirements.
This position is required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Planning and Development Section ensuring a high standard of service delivery. This position must achieve this whilst delivering consistent business support in a dynamic work environment that has competing and shifting deadlines and priorities.
About You
* Certificate IV in Business (Administration) or equivalent experience
* Experience providing executive support in a similar role
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills
* Strong organisation and time management
* High-level written and verbal communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work across stakeholders
* Understanding of local government (desirable)
* Experience using electronic document management systems
