Main Responsibilities:
* Provide targeted support to individuals with complex needs, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
* Assist with personal care and mobility, ensuring safety and dignity through tasks like bathing, dressing, and manual handling.
* Help clients develop confidence and independence by promoting daily living skills, self-expression, and personal growth.
* Facilitate community access and provide transportation support, enabling clients to stay connected and engaged in activities they enjoy.
* Work collaboratively as part of a 24/7 rotating roster, with sleepover shifts being a key aspect of the role.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
* A valid New South Wales driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is required.
* A commitment to flexible work hours across the week, including public holidays.
* Demonstrated ability to utilize basic technology and software on mobile and desktop devices.
* A current First Aid Certificate, including HLTAID003 or HLTAID011.
