About the role
Physikal Health Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Podiatrist to join our team in Hervey Bay, QLD. As a Podiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive foot and ankle care to our patients, helping them maintain optimal foot health and mobility. This position is being offered in both Full-time and part-time employment. Offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive healthcare environment.
What you'll be doing
* Conducting thorough assessments and diagnoses of foot and ankle conditions
* Designing and implementing individualised treatment plans to address a range of podiatric issues
* Providing a wide range of podiatric services, including biomechanical assessments, routine foot care, nail care, and the management of conditions such as sports injuries, plantar fasciitis, bunions, and diabetic foot complications
* Educating patients on proper foot care and prevention strategies to maintain long-term foot health
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals in our multidisciplinary team, such as physiotherapists and physiologists, to provide comprehensive patient care
* Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines
What we're looking for
* Bachelor's degree in Podiatry or equivalent qualification
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and empower patients
* Proficient in the use of podiatric equipment and technology
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and a collaborative, patient-centred approach to care
