Responsibilities
* Production‐grade Data Engineering experience supporting critical data pipelines with on‐call and service commitments, including L3 engineering support and incident remediation.
* Strong SAP Data Services (BODS) engineering capability, including troubleshooting and remediating complex ETL pipeline failures and delivering controlled upgrades.
* SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) engineering experience, specifically where changes to reporting artefacts, semantic layer, scheduling, or promotions are required.
* Advanced SQL and data modelling skills, with the ability to diagnose performance issues and optimise workloads, complemented by Python scripting/automation.
* Disciplined engineering and governance practices, including solution design documentation, controlled releases (Git, peer review, CI/CD), ITSM processes (ServiceNow Change/Problem), and production‐ready handover to Operations.
