MYtech Consulting Services is a growing IT service provider, providing services to public and private sector clients. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Integration Developer for a 12 month fixed‐term contract within NTG, supporting the development of integrations within new Education Management System (EMS) and other IT projects and programs across the Division.
Scope of Works
The Integration developer is required to undertake technical design and development of business systems using application development standards. The Education Management Transformation Program (EMTP) will deliver a range of contemporary education management technologies to streamline and improve ways for capturing, sharing, analysing and reporting data across the NT. The first stage will provision and implement a modern and consolidated (jurisdictional) solution with enhanced student enrolment and attendance capability to provide a holistic view of each student across the Northern Territory, their location, achievements and performance and their wellbeing. Consolidating data from a range of sources, it will better support students to engage with education and support a more student‐centred focus. The first stage also includes establishment of underpinning data and integration technology infrastructure to support these capabilities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Demonstrated skill in writing multi-layered applications with C# .Net / Web Applications / SQL Server.
* Demonstrated skills with Web Services, Mainframe integration or Message Queues such as IBM MQ.
* Demonstrated skill with .Net MVC or WebAPI or ServiceStack framework.
* Demonstrated skill with modern version control systems such as Git, Mercurial, or Subversion.
* Demonstrated skill in writing unit tests.
* Demonstrated skill in issue tracking toolsets such as JIRA.
* Experience working with a business analyst during requirements gathering.
* Experience creating web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
* Experience with a client-side Javascript library such as Knockout or Angular.Experience in technical architecture design, application development and programming to develop well designed solutions.
* Tertiary qualifications in information technology, computer science or software engineering.
* Well-developed organisational skills with ability to work within a project team to deliver solutions within agreed timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
Desirable Skills And Experience
* Previous experience in designing and developing solutions for NTG business systems is preferred.
* Demonstrated skill with Desktop UI development, preferably WPF.
* Demonstrated skill with web development (HTML/CSS/Javascript).
* Demonstrated skill with an Object Relational Mapping framework such as NHibernate, LLBLGen or Entity Framework.
* Demonstrated skill in designing relational databases using Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
* Demonstrated skills with Unit Testing such as NUnit.
* Experience with InterSystems IRIS and/or ObjectScript, particularly in building or supporting integrations (e.g. services, operations, BPL)
