They're now seeking Future Careers Officer to join their team in East Melbourne and help promote construction careers and apprenticeships. You'll support outreach, engagement, and future skills initiatives across the building and construction industry.
The role offers great variety, blending administration, event coordination, stakeholder engagement, and project support. You'll regularly engage with apprentices, training providers, and industry partners and play a hands-on role in career expos, TAFE roadshows, info sessions, and career programs.
Responsibilities
* Support outreach and engagement activities across Victoria
* Coordinate logistics, calendars, communications, and resources
* Assist with Apprentice Awards programs and related events
* Provide administrative and project support, including reporting and data entry
* Maintain resources, templates, and stakeholder contact lists
* Manage general enquiries from members and the public
* Build relationships with education providers and industry stakeholders
* Support career progression initiatives and promotional activities
About You
You're organised, personable, and motivated by work that makes a difference. You enjoy working with people, juggling multiple priorities, and supporting projects from start to finish.
* Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Confidence with public speaking and written communications
* Excellent organisation and time management
* Proactive, flexible, and solutions-focused
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
* Experience using CRM systems and intermediate Microsoft Office skills
* A genuine interest in training, apprenticeships, and career pathways
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or similar highly regarded, but not needed to apply
