Health and Safety Systems Advisor Job Description
Our organization is seeking a Health and Safety Systems Advisor to provide support to the Safety, Health & Wellbeing team.
* Develop a single Health and Safety Management System in compliance with National Audit Tool for Self Insurance (NAT) and applicable WHS legislation.
* Provide governance, reporting and management of the Health and Safety Management System to ensure continued performance and compliance.
* Document control Health and Safety Management System content for our organization and its business units, including the Safety, Health & Wellbeing Risk Register.
* Support our organization and business units in scheme and Self Insurance licence programs.
* Develop the Safety, Health & Wellbeing Risk Profile.
* Prepare and issue the Safety Pack in accordance with Safety Pack Calendar for our organization brands.
* Support Group Health & Safety Systems Manager and Group Risk Management with capacity planning for our organization brands.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have knowledge of Health and Safety Management Systems in alignment to the NAT for Self Insurance or AS45001, as well as experience using Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and Microsoft Office suite of products or similar. Strong administrative skills and attention to detail are essential.
You will also have the ability to understand and interpret Health and Safety data and terms. A strong knowledge and experience using technology tools such as G Suite and Microsoft Office is highly desirable.
