Job Title: Maintenance Mechanical Fitter
Maintenance Mechanical Fitters play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of water and wastewater treatment infrastructure. They are responsible for routine and reactive maintenance, inspections, technical assessments, and supporting mechanical design and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (Machinist) with a minimum of four years post-trade experience within the Water industry. They will possess comprehensive mechanical knowledge and demonstrated experience in maintenance, repair, and rehabilitation programs.
Key responsibilities include:
* Routine and reactive maintenance of mechanical assets
* Inspections and technical assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
* Supporting mechanical design and compliance
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt, and possess excellent communication skills.
